Nooch is a nutritional yeast brand with a bi-coastal team in California and New York. The founders have roots in Oregon, so they wanted help designing a logo and packaging that reflects their PNW background. I helped them finalize their logo, create product packaging for their full line of products, and build their e-commerce Squarespace website.

WEB DESIGN

NOOCH was interested in a simple, one-page design for their first website launch. They had a clear vision from the beginning, so our job was to help art direct the layout and provide direction to the photographer.

I designed a clean, minimal layout for them that highlighted their top product attributes and helped educate new visitors about nutritional yeast and its many applications.

SQUARESPACE DEVELOPMENT

NOOCH wanted a Squarespace site so they could easily make changes to their website content, and manage a simple e-commerce store. This project involved Squarespace setup and configuration, design, and product catalog development.

We configured the design settings in Squarespace to match our web design mockups by importing their brand colors and typography. The client chose themes for each content section on the homepage, and we created a layout and color theme that best complemented their content.

For the product catalog, we added their product line and included all product features available, such as product name, SKU, description, price, product photos, ingredient information, and nutritional information. Once the products were formatted correctly, we featured their product information on the homepage using a dynamic product block.

PACKAGE DESIGN

NOOCH needed completely new product labels for their initial brand launch. Their goal was to create minimal, clean, organic, and approachable package designs that would appeal to their target audience: Whole Foods customers.

We worked together on multiple rounds of revision until we landed on a clean design featuring a distinct color for each product flavor: off-white for artisanal salt, red for spicy sriracha, and smokey gray for black truffle.

This project involved packaging design from conception to print. I worked with them to ensure their file met the specifications of their printing partners, and helped them fine-tune the files until they were print perfect.
